I'm Jen, the artist behind WHYSON STUDIO.
My work is neo-cubist at its core: faces and figures broken into planes and rebuilt, sitting where modern abstract art meets portraiture. Symbols and references you think you know, taken apart and put back against the way you'd expect them to go. Classical portraiture next to street iconography, pop next to art history, pulled into the same frame on purpose, not by accident. The surface pulls you in with something familiar. Underneath, nothing sits where it should.
I build this whole world out of what I'm into — the music, the films, the culture that runs through all of it.
That world doesn't stay on a screen. It comes to life as prints — made to hold their own on a wall, in quality that does the work justice. This is where a piece stops being an image and becomes something you can actually own.
Everything comes out on its own terms: limited runs, released once, in a set number, gone when it's gone. Past drops move to the Archive. What's in the shop is what's live right now.
